It's the unpardonable sin to cross the picket line, but it's perfectly acceptable to lose your career and let your family suffer all because the union says so. Hey, if that's how you choose to live, so be it. Where I come from, a man chooses his own path. He doesn't follow a union around like a dog and wait for it to make his decisions for him.

I know someone who hired a lawyer because his wife is on disability and the union hasn't given him a cent to help her coverage. Still, he's refusing to cross which is downright stupid.
