I just have one question about this. Were the yard signs hand delivered to the secret hiding place in the Philippines or will they be shipped?

They discovered a call center in the Philippines that everybody in the company and industry knew was there. It wasn't a secret. Companies have been offshoring call centers since at least the 1980s - I remember calling American Express in the late 80s and talking to someone in Singapore. The VZ offshoring was not "discovered", it has always been common knowledge. Companies do it all the time. "Discovering" the call center is the equivalent of discovering that the sun rises in the morning. Talk about yellow journalism. Sheesh.

Why wouldn't Verizon want to do business in the Philippines. There #1 export is females. Human trafficking and sex slaves galore and cheap. Verizon does not care about its own employees or the United States. They like criminals just look at the replacements they hire. They even had Jerry Sandusky as man of the year a few months before he was outed. It's there style.

Seems like $1.78/hour is not bad for those call center employees. If they work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, they can make about $6700 a year which is very close to the median salary. I don't know what Union is excited about.

How is this a cover up? It was already known that VZ uses call center services in the Phillipines. Plus, it's not a VZ facility. It's a contractor and I bet that the building is a call center for many companies and is not solely for VZ. Why is anyone shocked that the owner didn't want the CWA on the property?
