That sounds all well and good until the only job you are your skills can go to is Burger King since they farmed all of the IT work out.

guess what, if this moves over to wireless and takes my job then so be it. I will go to work somewhere else. What you have to realize is that the country and the world are different. The days of having a "career" and working 30+ years for one company are long gone. Employees aren't loyal to companies just as much as companies aren't loyal to employees. Is it fair? No! But I'm not going to sit by and watch my family suffer because I am being told by some jackasses that aren't worried about income make decisions on "my behalf." Trust me. No one has yours or our best interest in any of this. It is about money and that is it.

Which candidate running for office is advocating bringing work back to America or make them pay a hefty tax to do business here should they offshore? nothing new...but I do love that the link is to the CWA website, real reliable source for info. LBFO is on the table and Verizon is hoping you don't take it. They would rather go the cheaper route. After the 20th, you have nothing. I feel for those that want to come back but can't because they feel they will have too much retaliation from other members. Everyone already knew there was offshoring going on. Most large companies do it.
