I heard bad news is coming tomorrow for a ton of managers and others.
They tell me I'm safe but I'm not sure...

40,000 managers being laid off. Some have just been promoted, after almost 40 yrs of service. Are they so blind they couldn't see why they were promoted? To be promoted at age 61 instead of 31? Not really mgmt material but it's a good way to get rid of an old timer. If you are close to retirement age, volunteer. If you're young, find another job.

Yea I was told I didn't have anything to worry about last year before I got axed. My director had no clue I was on the surplus list...our entire group was outsourced.
