"Hqz - 3 week wait, you are correct. A lot better than it was a week ago.

Test it again next Thursday and let us know you're findings. You ain't gonna like it..."

I can vouch that this will be correct. I can also state with reasonable certainty that in about another 4-6 weeks that almost all (perhaps all) will be running at BAU levels, or better. Some groups, such as the call centers, are already operating at 100%. The movement of that work to third parties has already commenced. So, fortunately or unfortunately, that is one function that I believe the company truly doesn't need anyone to come back for. The other functions are following suit, they're just going to take a few weeks longer.

Go ahead and call Verizon for a fios install. The wait is minimum 3 weeks.

OP: Can you put some numbers around the claim that VZ is reaching the break point of lost customers?

Nope - Cuz you're wrong.

You are, however, right about one thing - the clock is ticking. Push your union leadership to get you back to work, before it's too late. The same negotiations that are happening (or not happening) now could occur with these poor folks getting paid at the same time.

The responses from the Union are devoid from reality. You still don't get it.

Yeah I see that. They are doing a great job. Accidents everywhere....people working unsafe....workers showing up impaired being sent home...Managers quitting....3 to 4 people to do one install...I'm not worried, but Verizon sure is.
