American here who works at Verizon CSSC would not mind a bit to have the union gone from representing us! They are all a cult for people who have been at Verizon for 20-30 years! Nothing more!

If the union were to give in to the supposed LBF offer there would be no union to speak thereof in VZ within a couple of years, and thousands of jobs would've been lost by the time this joke of a contract would be over.

Just give it up. Company is making changes. The union is trying to spin things but we all know they know they are screwed and are just holding things up to make it look like they've accomplished something. There is a master plan, and unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the union has a big part in it unless they give in to the final offer. Of course that means the union heads sucking up their pride and looking like they made the people suffer for nothing. Which is precisely the case.
We have gotten all of our EWA peeps back that were assigned to union call centers

Hate to say it but this shouldn't hold up the contract. This wouldn't be the first time a work location was closed. A lot of others have 2 hour commutes.
