I don't think that original post is from Verizon
I am a management employee and don't agree with everything that is happening right now (ex: Delaware incident today) BUT this post is downright rude and unnecessary. VERY disrespectful and condescending.
@hek Which Hlxpy19 are you talking to? And why would a Doctor like yourself be on this board diagnosing people and prescribing medications?
Or are you just one of those all knowing about everything in the world Verizon a-holes?

Little does the OP know that the people I know who left Verizon stated it was the best decision they ever made and don't miss it whatsoever. VZ is sinking fast. Have fun with those foreign replacements, hopefully you are ready to move to the Philipines or India!
Hey, pay attention. Verizon core is stocked with high level low educated management. One happens to be a high school educated VP. Many of the union employees took advantage of the educational opportunities that were in place at New York Tel, NYNEX, Bel Atlantic and now Verizon long before lowell showed up. He seeks to gut the programs. I have attained two degrees from reputable educational institutions over my 25 year career. I have witnessed 1st level job openings being filled by high school educated applicants who were chosen over applicants who held business degrees simple because directors were threatened by applicants education level. They obviously fear the applicant would advance beyond what they would be able to attain and would likely end up reporting to them. You are clueless. I know many 2nd level managers holding High School diplomas and one with a GED.
The OP is heartbroken like someone who lost a lover. I kind of feel sad from Him/Her a little.

Maybe we don't want to come back! Many of us have other opportunities lined up. Please get over yourself. We arent desperate, please enjoy that sweatshop environment filled with yes men! Many people have no problem walking away if need be, unlike yourself.
