A van pulled up and gave me health insurance today :) It's not too bad actually.

60 Years of Can't Win Anything
Another decade longer, another decade closer to bankruptcy.
Sorry, but the CWA has mismanaged this strike at Verizon at 30-something thousand people are paying the price for it by being unemployed and having no health insurance.
The union is doing absolutely nothing to end the current strike, and while the union leadership currently has a bi-weekly paycheck coming in the union people do not. The company has provided a best and final offer, a significant portion of which expires in a week, and the union has done -- NOTHING.
Up until now the CWA had a track record to be proud of. But now they are leading almost 40,000 people to the unemployment line. It's sickening.
