Would not expect any type of ballot coming from the Union leadership, the decision to strike was decided in 2015. The true problem is that this is no longer a VZ associate issue, the Union has made this a much larger political issue and cannot back-down or they will look foolish on a national scale. At the end of the day the CWA leadership is willing to make martyrs of those going without currently just to advance their political agenda....Good Luck

If that's the way you really feel, go ahead and cross. That way you'll get to work under the conditions specified in the given offer.

I'm certainly not up on how things go within the unions, but I was always under the impression that members got to vote on major items and their leadership, although they might not be bound by those votes, would at least have to give it serious consideration. Is that not how it works? This is a serious question, I honestly am curious how it works.
