We have gotten more words of support and encouragement than not. Customers are seeing how greedy and screwed up Verizon is and support us in this fight. Lowell must be feeling the "bern" of lost profits to his bottom line!

Honestly, I don't see why ANYONE would go into a VZ store unless they like being harassed and hard sold on crap they don't need like a $150 BT Speaker you can buy for half that on Amazon.
Everything can be managed online. The stores are useless.
And that would be fine if customers were making their decision based on their principles rather than because of the intimidation of people screaming at them. Harassing our customers is not cool.
You can't picket the internet...People don't need to go to stores to get VZW Products

Angry employees are productive employees,Verizon culture tells us so. The 1st comment is priceless, the youth of America. We are reaching a point where nothing will be the same. This network is crumbling, but it's being covered up. The hatred for the union workforce will bring big red to its knees. The pride of telling people you are a phone man has past, never to be seen again. Enjoyed my 34 years but every good thing comes to an end.
The wireless workers hate the company too which is why there is a huge churn of workers there. If they could keep people employed in their stores for more than a few years I have no doubt they'd be unionized as well. Compare that to the fully unionized AT&T wireless workers to see what I mean.
Maybe for other carriers. VZ is getting smoked by the competition now. Better matters? Not when it costs a small fortune.
That's how strikes work. You hurt my paycheck, I hurt your paycheck and when you're ready to do real business we'll make up until you try it again. Executives only understand profit numbers, especially those that benefit them, and have no moral compass guiding their actions. Not a real difficult concept to grasp.
Customers turning around and buying the phones and service on-line. No big deal. No one is going to settle for second best service because some hairy union weirdo stood in their way at the Vz store.
@jud, if you must know, I among others are weighing our options, and some have other opportunities available but are riding it out for right now waiting for the right opportunity to ditch Verizon.

@HlT2o6L-mrp, I think you're assuming far too much. I doubt the wireless associate thinks you have their best interests in mind. Quite simply, none of your demands benefit them. The hypothetical unionized wireless store tomorrow doesn't put food on the table today.
What they see are a bunch of wireline union people trying to hurt wireless business. It's accurate and obvious.

Wireline can support itself very well. It's been supporting numerous expenses from the wireless side for years now.

VZ would love for that to happen, no questions asked. Whether it actually will happen remains to be seen...this strike is nowhere near the end.

Actually, they know we are picketing on their behalf even if customers are driven away, they know they are getting the shaft by this billion dollar company as well..they get paid crappy wages and benefits and have it way worse

if everyone switches from verizon products what job will we have to go back to? if people are cutting cables that is going to turn the public against us and will no longer support us and leave verizon service which is exactly what they want, they want to be a media company not a communications company because it is more money with less overhead, that is why they bought out aol and working on yahoo.
Without wireline, there is no wireless...but it's ok if the company wants to cut off their nose to spite their face.
