whether you were prepared or not, you have lost over $6500. just in wages. what are you going to gain that replaces that? who wants to burn through their savings? the economy is still not good and if you haven't worked in an overtime area how were you able to save much in the first place?

" if you guys go back it will be for nothing more than the final offer."

I don't see that scenario playing out, but if it indeed does I'll be putting my papers in on the very next day.

"staying out.and enjoying" that just proves the ignorance of those who blindly follow the union. if you guys go back it will be for nothing more than the final offer.

"The unions misjudged this fight, it is time to go back before we can't."

Sure let's go back and be out of the job before the contract is up unless one has 29 years or more.

No way no how.

The only ones who misjudged this whole thing are the ones who didn't believe that strike would happen, and haven't prepared accordingly. While I feel bad for them on some level, they must've been living in the parallel universe since 2012, and have no one to blame but themselves.

Staying out. And enjoying it. Big time.

Vz leadership has stopped talking about when union comes back when speaking at centers. They said LBFO is on table and that's it. The rest of talks are about moving forward without Union, timeline, plan, training replacements, etc. Internally there is nothing else to say. Holding out longer fits more into the plan than coming back. That's not propaganda. It's reality.

reading reports that the NY/NE team hasn't been to the table since 5/2? The unions misjudged this fight, it is time to go back before we can't.

As far as updates go, we are not getting any on the other side either.

So, we are both being treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark, and fed BS.

what did the call say? Nothing but the same no movement, we should have daily updates posted online even if to say we meet with the company and talked about xyz, having 1 update a week is not enough, many members starting to get nervous.

What news we were expecting? The company made their best and final offer in the union retracted it. The company is bringing in temps strikers. In a couple of months the EWAS will go home end it will be business as usual. The CWA can't report any news because there isn't any news to report.
