Where are you going to go? Verizon has dam good benefits. You will not find any better any where else. You are kidding yourself if you think you are going to find a job as good.

Only people that have planned ahead,for these events can find better jobs, there are plenty of technology jobs out there,they pay 30% plus, better culture, better benefits and you get to keep your sanity
Seems to me you are gonna need the benefits with all the stressful proposals to relocate the workforce. Even with all the cash EWA's are raking in, the disruption of relocation will be setting in soon and it won't be about the money anymore. As far as good benefits, isn't the company's goal is to make them just like everybody else's? So if we accept the givebacks, in terms of the benefits, moving to a different company with less stress only makes sense.

Sure, the pay and benefits are great, but the work environment is $hit. I would rather be noticed and promoted for how good of a job I do, not by how much of a kiss assyes man I can be which is the current culture. Time for me to move on to greener pastures.
