Company Troll Keeps Begging Union Members To Cross And Return......I wonder Why?

The scare tactics won't work, so you can stop with all your B.S posts. I do find it flattering that you can't do it without me, and it's obvious by your constant begging us to cross or return as if you care about us.

Customers are leaving now in the Thousands not hundreds anymore, so keep it up your doing at great job at destroying Verizon.

For you it should be simple to see that since the decline of unions there is a direct correlation to the decline of the middle class and the rise of the corporate masters. With less organization to fight back the corps now have the power to treat you like sh--. Expect more of the same to come my non union friend. The shift has happened and there are few left to stand and fight it. Sorry for your situation. Keep talking about unions being bad. There is more Kool aid in the fridge.

@wbj I'm not sure unions have really fixed much. I still regularly have to work 60hr+ weeks with no overtime, got to take no vacation last year, got no pay rise, and as members of my team leave they are not replaced and I'm expected to pick up their workload. And now with everybody out on EWA we struggle to raise a simple order or get any support from Product. So thank you unions for making life even less bearable for the rest of us.

@eml But that's what Union's do...Even by definition: an organization of workers formed for the purpose of advancing its members' interests in respect to wages, benefits, working conditions and Job security.

Without unions, we would still be working 12 hour days, seven days a week, with no paid holidays, no paid vacations, no pay raises and Rif'd at any moment.

The Union is an organization of workers formed to protect the rights and interests of its members.

The Company hierarchy will always look out for their best interest not yours. The problem is they are the ones making all the Company's decisions. As a worker generating money to that company, wouldn't you want to be treated fairly? Do you like coming to work everyday as it was your last? As a Union you can stand all as one. One by one they can pick you off....United All together, they can not. Hence United We Stand.

Why do you think Verizon despises Unions? If everyone of us at Verizon were United as one. These fat cats that get a salary from what we do would have to treat us fairly. Something they don't want to do.

imagine that Rif'd for no reason other that a cheaper foreign worker. Not if your Union!

@cai: thanks for the love song, but I'm not really into dudes so you can just keep giving your union brothers a handy after picket duty. And for the record, I'm not on EWA. So I get to see my family every night. So all of your union talking points won't fly. I know it's hard to think on your own, but try to at least be original. Yes I'm educated, entitled, spoiled etc and will soon be replaced. Yadda yadda yadda. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying a great life, and hey even my kids can go to the doctor and not the free clinic down by the bus depot like yours have to. So I guess all it boils down to is you're the scum destined to serve people like me for the rest of your life. I'll leave a good tip on the table for you while you bus it.

vkc -- every employer is looking to outsource their employees to the cheapest bidder. This isn't unique to Verizon.

It's one of the perils of working for a large company. The best way to get around it is to do a really good job and make it tough for them to do without you. Trying to "force" a company to give you job security doesn't work, and about the only thing that comes from it is resentment.

If you think Verizon or any other company is going to guarantee you job security then you are very naive.

It's so odd how an uninformed person can hear sage advice and call it begging. The intent of the cross now remarks is to enable you to actually have a job. Sadly, you will ignore this and keep beating the unions drum with the sole hope of enticing wireless to join you. That's right, the union only wants you to strike to get in front of wireless. They know your current positions have an end date of 3 years max. Might as well trade out the 39k now for the future of the Union.

I don't know why the "troll" wants you back. My guess is that the "troll" is a disgruntled union guy trying to get others to cross so he can too. Because in all honesty, no one here in the company wants you back. Union members only serve one purpose and that is to fill the lowest level of society. I mean, someone's gotta be the sh!t on the bottom of the show, so it's just the unions natural station in life. You are lazy, entitled, ignorant, repulsive, disgusting people who don't deserve a second chance. The day the union is officially busted, you will hear a collective cheer from the other 100k employees. Ding dong, the witch is dead. Now, I know it's hard on you to think on your own without having your union leaders di(k up your ass but for once try to use your own brain and realize the trash has been taken out of Verizon once and for all. Go find another company to destroy.

Didn't the offer give you job security - do you know why it the last offer was worded "Last and Best" its so they can replace you and not bring you back. Bad move to strike. Union sh$t the bed on this one. 2 more weeks 1/2 the membership returns - face it - its 2 wire hook em up - software defined networks - plenty of spares for rewire - Fios is plug and play

Striking not to get RIF'd how about that? Your a$$ is on the block everyday by a corporation that is looking to outsource you to the cheapest bidder.

No it's a request for the Union to either sh-- or get off the pot. Mediation is available, what's the excuse for not taking that offer? Could it be that you just want the notoriety of striking and don't really care about the working? Striking for good jobs, give me a break...your 15 min or fame are up

these managers are being used and abused by the company like they were doing to their union counterparts, they are stressed, tired and worn out! Of course they are desperate for us to come back! Working 12 hour days 10 days a week drives one to the point of insanity!
