Please keep all derogatory rascist comments to yourself. These type of threads will start to be deleted and you will be banned from posting ability. You are never anonmoyous. The Layoff strongly supports Freedom of Speech and your welcome to post whatever you want but if the post is demeaning to others it will be quickly deleted and you will be banned immediately.

Agreed--on all of that. But...Can someone also delete everything not about layoffs too? This site is for layoffs not Unions. Not everyone is pro-Union or anti-Union--some people just go to work and want to know if their job will be eliminated. I know the strike is huge--but it belongs on a separate area. They have their own complex issues to contend with that are very different and difficult.
But some classes of people are protected by law. Others are protected by the union.
certainly support the admonishment about racist comments being deragotory, but keep in mind that derogatory comments go beyond those that are racist; also derogatory are those that refer to people as asholes, douchbags, fcks, dcks, morons, etc., and there are far, far more of these than those that are racist. Just sayin'.
