I just receied 5 contractors, eager to learn,respectful and happy for a job. Let the union stay out forever.

In this economy, I pray no one loses their jobs. Management and union both.

Oh and by the way I do not want anyone to lose their job union person nor management. So everyone stop hating on each other we are all in this BS chess game together.

I know this OP is trying to be nasty, but I pray for a rif as I would love to have 35 weeks pay as a door prize. I already have another job waiting in the wings and my new employer is OK with me continuing strike duty for the forseeable future. This of course is wonderful as there is no way I want to walk away from this strike duty paycheck. As others have noted, the money is absolutely crazy.

OP- we EWA's earned educations so we do not have to be beholden to the union masters. let them RIF us. for the past four weeks, we've been taking your money (and then some). we will get a separation package when RIF'd, and we have skills and abilities that we can capitalize upon from another employer. if I am RIF'd, I will not be unemployed for long. I fully expect to come out ahead.

Lack of a paycheck is making you delusional. You're not coming back and time soon - you are being replaced. Thank your leadership for that.
