Why should the union membership have to cross? Why can't the membership force the leadership to put the deal to a vote? Are there no checks and balances in the union? Is the membership screwed if they don't have leadership that is responsive? The membership is the union so why can't the membership fire the leadership?
union members have a brain and think for yourself, Ed likes spending your money on himself. go back to work and be happy to have jobs after the 20th.
If dozens, hundreds, whatever decide as an independant group to cross lines what is the worse that can happen? I seriously don't know which is why I am asking. We have gained nothing but ulcers, stress headaches, and a financial burden that will take months to recoup.
It's not a democracy. You do as the union says or else.
This a democracy. Let the Union members vote to decide whether they want to return. The leadership can the continue negotiating with VZ
