A post on a layoff board about RIFs? Imagine that.
Those with nothing to do are the H1bs in India waiting for the older Americans to be Rifd so they can be moved in to replace them.
As terrible as it sounds, this needs to happen. I still see way too many people with nothing to do.

I am guessing the Americans from Wireless were sent out in the field while the foreign born held down the fort. That doesn't bode well for who is essential. Sorry to hear of more rifs. Waiting for rif day in the months leading up to November was really hard and so many were caught off guard.
I would think they would have to start closing some of these stores. Many just don't produce anymore.
I would think the strike thing needs to end first since so many in wireless are on ewa's.
Call Center closings? Heard rumors on Lincoln, Rancho, and Charlotte.
