remember what an Impasse will mean- those that come back to work will be under the terms of the "last, best, final offer", and NOT the last contract.
Those still on strike will of course receive nothing from Vz... good luck

Will there be any direct company communications to every employee about alleged actions to occur on the 5/20 date?

If the union doesn't accept the offer by 5/20 the Company will deploy tens of thousands of contractors they have ready to go. If that happens then the strike can continue indefinitely and Vz won't care. EWAs have been told to prepare for months of strike duty.
