Not at this point in the game. One doesn't press red buttons as long as there are other options.
Union wants to resolve this without any external help if at all possible. They've lost quite a bit of face with the last contract and need to gain some of the respect back. Running straight to NLRB is not the way of accomplishing such a task.
Here we go again. Economic strike, ULP strike, Economic strike ULP strike, etc. Listen up. If this was a ULP strike then the Unions would have filed an Unfair Labor Practice with the NLRB. It would give them leverage in their negotiations. They haven't because it is not, and if they declared it was an Economic strike (which mean YOU can be REPLACED) people would we crossing daily. Wake the hell up!

If you think the union has been around this long by luck, you are mistaken. If we were that stupid and it was that easy to get rid of us it would have happened many years ago. @1ymd ... people cross not because the company cannot do with out us, they cross because they do not support the strike in one form or another and the immediate need to meet financial and health requirements out weigh the staying out for the ~130 people the Union does not want to have relocated or be offered a package.
I fear those that stay out will be replaced by the temps. This is legal for the company to do as this is not a ULP strike. What that means is that after the strike the displaced Union employee gets back in if there is a job for them to do. If not then they are on a wait list.

It was 1200 around the end of the 2nd week of the strike. I have read that approximately %60 of the NOCs in Virginia and Maryland have returned. I suppose the 3000 might be fairly accurate.
With Virginia being a right-to-work State I would think most of the crossing would be done there.
The company's only hope is for people to cross, and that's saying you can't do it without us. Don't cross, and we will all be back on OUR terms. Stay United and Strong. They need us, you see that now!

Last number I heard was 3393. This source overestimated last time by 10%, so I'm thinking the actual is around 3000.

Has to be close to all 39000 by now, doesn't it? I've never seen people who hate the union so much want us to come back so bad?! This site is a total waste of time.

last I saw in a company email was about 1300.
See what happens now that it has been about 4 weeks.
I doubt either side will release a true number. I would say that 3k somebody threw out there is probably close.
How would anyone know the answer to that question. If they were in the know, it would not by posted on this site.
Didn't realize it was that few. I respect those who crossed because they have their reasons. And to those who haven't, I realize you also have your reasons. Each person should do what makes the most sense for their family.
