Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Very Quiet Weekend, Outstanding Service Levels (not a sarcastic post either its reality!)

Service levels high EWA'ers and contractors getting better by the day.

I truly believe Verizon will be able to dissolve the union by the end of the month.

The union is like a scab that won't go away!

"Verizon's best and brightest that are the union members..."

Yes that is why the company is so desperate to get rid of you and replace you with temps. Perhaps if you weren't such a pain in the arse the company might appreciate the work you do.

There is a reason the "best and brightest" as you call yourself is not coveted by Verizon or anyone else.

You people seriously make me laugh. You know nothing about the negotiations, nothing about labor law and nothing about service levels. You in particular must be doing a bang up job! I mean you post the same sh-- all day and still find the time to service the customers way better than any union idiot could ever do. You are truly amazing. I can't help but feel sorry for you though. I mean the amount of time you spend trying to make the union look bad just tells me that you had/have no friends. Why else would you be here so much? Sorry for your life. Btw, I'm spending a nice day with my wife and kids today. Heading to visit my mom too. Glad I have off today. Have fun by yourself loser.

"When referring to "outstanding service levels" we are discussing WIRELESS. You know, 71 % of the company's profit margin. The union is already broken and done. VZ left there final offer on the table and agreed to mediation. Once your "Grand Dragon" leaders refused it they punched your ticket to a new employer."

Who cares? It's not really a big loss. Most of us have found better opportunities with room for advancement elsewhere. Whether the company or the union "wins" is irrelevant to most of us anyhow.

"Outstanding Service Levels" Even an EWAer is laughing at your post. Please confirm that with Bob Mudge and Tami Erwin, they will tell you differently. Which leads to my Question...Why are you posting this?

More than likely a pack of lies, but whatever. Verizon's best and brightest that are union members are moving on to other opportunites/different companies that will be more appreciative of their efforts with room for advancement, no big loss really even if the union is dissolved. Vz is a very dead end company for most, especially if you work in the call centers.
