Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

UNION IS WINNING!!!!!!!

They want to see 39k break down and cross, but they failed. Keep your $$$ we keep our dignity, freedom and respect. Cut the hand that feed you and you will starve, hire as much temps as you want but it will never be the same. Few can not exploit many forever and that time has come. Your final best offer is rejected and "Aluta Continua, Victoria Acerta"

Solidarity Forever

Yeah the company image is really ruined just like all the other companies that have had union strikes.

Only a narcissist would think anyone other than the union and EWAers are paying any attention to this strike. The strike isn't even on the national radar. It's been a month and most of my family (who lives in other parts of the country) don't even know Verizon is having a strike.

But by all means please believe anything that makes you feel better.

Winning what? This is a non story. It is getting no play in the major press. The majority of the company's profits are from wireless and the 40000 people represent less than 25% of the workforce.

Company image is already ruined, called an anti American company. Most politicians as well as the public have an extreme hate for Verizon and what they stand for. It is a shame they are running the company into the ground at a high rate of speed and the news and Wallstreet are playing cover up. All execs dont care, they are on a 3 year plan and will run for the door with all their millions while company flips like a fish out of water and never rebounds. Would you like to buy a vowel?

The Union is Winning, they will never admit to that. Someone at the top executive level should put away their ego, and find a solution to stop this madness before we have ruined our brand name.

What exactly are you winning? Job security, that will never happen again. Not having to pay for your health care, most americans already do. More of a pension? Most pay into a 401k. This isn't nothing new except for the delusion that you are winning. In this strike, no one wins.....not even VZ

HAHAHA...... If that's the way you clowns do an easy job, I want to see more. YouTube videos tell a different story. I have over 30 so it's difficult to remember, but I think when I started I was able to put a ladder on a truck. Back in the day the people you worked with were harder on you then the pickters have been on you guys.

Yes we are winning...killing them, but they can't admit it yet. My local (1103) is strong, and know every day out is one day closer to a good contract. They can't expect the EWAs to do this forever, and the yokels they have brought in are a disgrace to the company. We have them on the ropes, let's keep going!!!

HAHAHA... your job is easy

You need to study competitive advantage theories and business start up costs. New employees suck up profit margins and lose customer base. Time will tell

They told us scabs early on that they never expected many of you to cross and were surprised at how many did right off the bat. Saying you're winning because the union didn't completely collapse is a huge case of moving the goalpost.
