A last best and final offer on a legal standpoint is a basis for the employer to implement terms and conditions on the unions should they be unable to reach an agreement. But it doesn’t mean that the efforts to get a tentative agreement acceptable to both sides has stopped.

Thats right. Wonder if that is why strike was called.Bottom line is in the end that final offer is not real.

Why does Verizon keep putting out all the Great points of their proposals, But if you look deeper and read the fine print, it's a death sentence agreement if you sign, don't believe me? read the details for yourself, or even better get a labor lawyer to decipher the B.S for you. You will be astonished at how the can deceive.
