GET THE HELL OUT! Run as fast as you can. If you're young and have a college ed., don't have much time in, find something else. This company will use and abuse you, then get rid of you. Used to be a good place to work for 20 years ago. I have 2 years to go before I can retire from here, hoping I can make it. The same goes for union people. But am I just preaching to the choir.

had 33 years in when they laid me off .... hang in there for you last 2 years and yes get the hell out! thank God I saved and lived beneath my means, I am okay to be retired....best thing that every happened to me was to get the hell out of there! Too much stress, getting written up for making a mistake that affected SEVEN and that is 7...SEVEN customers....they were on a headhunting mission! Go find the Joy in your life!
Advice is well taken, already have an even better opportunity lined up. Verizon doesn't need me and I sure as hell don't need Verizon!
