We've been picketing wireless stores with great turnouts and community support. I've been through this many times when the managers were former techs and knew what they were doing. What are you guys going to do for jobs when verizon shuts down the wireline? I'm sure wireless managers make more than the wireless workers but not much. If it wasn't for us making 80k base pay you wouldn't be getting your pay an bonuses either, you guys don't realize that you have a lot or more at stake than we do. I keep wondering where they all went. The first week our complex had a dozen or so at the gate. Then it dropped to a couple in the second week. It's been over a week since I've seen any. I'd assumed they were at the Wireless stores but I went to lunch next to a VZW shop and saw no picketers there either. Are they all picketing somewhere else or just not picketing and putting in for strike pay anyway? I know some have come back to work but certainly not all for this location.
They are a pathetic bunch with their little signs. No one notices them or cares.
