Union greed? The problem with executives pay is, you are not worth 242x the worker bees. I don't care how hard you've worked, you are not worth that much. To accuse people, who make less in one year than the man at the top does in 2 days, of greed is a disgrace. You my sir are a piece of sh--. Your parents did a horrible job raising you and should be ashamed of themselves. I feel sorry for you, your family and anyone who thinks like you. You talk about entitlement and you reak of hypocrisy. Fighting to keep jobs in America is righteous not greedy.
So losing the jobs for almost 40,000 people is really saving jobs? I guess you did give jobs to 10-15 thousand contractors so I can see it as a win. Thanks!

I don't think the union will settle. They want an Alamo for the union to rally around. The Alamo worked out well for the people of Texas, not so much for the soldiers there.

It is a good contract. The union greed, is worse, then the corporate greed.
Verizon will settle because first they want the XO deal to receive FCC approval. They want the 5G spectrum. Dish network already against it. Second they want Yahoo. Both deals need review by agencies under the Executive branch which is in Democratic hands. Just ask Halliburton which saw their deal sunk by Obama. I dont know why Vz is shedding dsl and stopping Fios. The cable companies keep growing their wired customer base. If Comcast where to buy tmobile Vz faces an unstoppable juggernaut.
They are, craft and management will both be gone. At least union puts up a fight. Managers just do what they're told .
