23 day...pretty impressive guys. The rate and which people crossing is way higher than EWAs are slinking away. You have to factor in this workforce is a fraction of what the usual staff is.

Im guessing this will end pretty soon. vz is taking the Grover Norquist approach.. shrink the union to small size to be able to drown in the bathtub.

Vz has hedged the bet that by 5/20 enough have crossed to cut the remaining holdouts loose.

I suspect we should see a deal soon. As in the one of the table before the femoral bleed out gets any worse.

Oh boy here we go with the bloated sense of entitlement again.

Getting close? I didn't get that from reading the update. At least it says they meet several times over the past few days. Union should not give in to demands. Lock in the mortality table?? It's set by the government isn't it? Who they hell do they think they are to even ask for that? I'll tell you who they are, Corporate Pigs !!! Union has already agreed to enough and now it's time for the company to give some back. This is a profitable business and the workers should be awarded just the executives get rewarded.

Just settle it so Verizon can sell off Wireline and be done with it.

I sure hope so. This strike isn't good for anyone (yes I know it's needed for the union to get some relief) in the long run. The union folks need their paychecks and the EWAs need to get back to what their skill set is.

Rumors are swirling that people will be back to work soon. I hope they are accurate!
