You poor, poor ignorant EWAs. You have no idea what is going to happen when the union starts ramping things up. The union instructed it's members to keep it at a simmer, and for the most part, they have.
When the order comes for a full roiling boil... be careful! We don't want to see anyone get hurt. Do yourselves a favor and research the strike of 89. And then reconsider your employment situation.
Yeah, concentrate on my career with a company that actually respects me.
The second this is over I'm cashing in 200 hours of vacation time hanging out with my family and going to interviews.
Not going to dedicate any more
of my time to Verizon.
Are you kidding? EWA's don't have real careers. There lives consist of shuffling emails, making worthless excel and PowerPoint docs to try and impress leadership and make busy work.
This is a propaganda page set up by Verizon to try and sway the Union to cross and go back to work!! If anyone knew how the FSC's are really run they wouldn't believe it and what Verizon is doing is shameful and pitiful. Industry leader in doing what! Ruining moral, cause i guarantee if the real employees were getting the hourly rate and making what some if the SCABS were making, there would have been no need for a strike...oh except for that whole off shoring thing..Karma is a bitch and when Verizon does what it wants and RIFs many of you managers, you'll understand cause they have no loyalty to you either.
I was left behind, and will be glad when this is over, and I can take a day off, and take 7 year old to the amusement park.
It is real nice when your not held to the same standards as the union employees are... Makes it easy to swallow the 12hr days
Haven't had a f---ing meeting, status report or power point deck since this started. I like the strike.
I could go till December too. I'll be working through the summer so bring on a bitter, slow dogfight. I'm game.
Just starting my 23rd 12 hour day. Work is tiring but nowhere near the stress. Of mu normal job. Looking at my paystub, I could easily do this through December.
This one definitely isn't ready to go back to her normal duties.
I've been working on my career for the last four weeks. It would be nice to get back to more familiar territory but I'm enjoying learning new things. I'd also really miss the extra money. I'm counting on the union to stay out until the end of June.
