How is it that a lot of these stupid threads are started and participated in during company time? Is it that these people just don't work for Verizon or are they just lazy dead weight who are wasting company time? Can anybody say hypocrites?

Lol. Agreed. So please stop assuming we are all just trained monkey's with menial skills, who can be replaced on the drop of a dime and I will respect what you do also.
I understand what you are trying to convey but judging by the content of your post you know as much about IT as I know about being a fios tech.

You see that's the problem. If they outsource your job for half the price they are getting someone that has as much if not more no how. When they contract out my job they get what they pay for. My job, as much as you think it's simple, absent minded work, is learned through hands on experience that is taught by experienced members, in a REAL LIFE environment. The customer WILL suffer more if we are gone. I do however agree that Vz just doesn't give a sh--. It's a big mistake if you ask me.
I will have a good day thanks. I work at union speed which gives me plenty of time to come here and comment. As for the IT comment I wouldn't disagree that vz doesnt value its IT employees. Hell it doesnt value any non senior manager but there are plenty of other companies that do. Your outside job is being contracted out for half the price and the only other companies that employ your job are almost as bad as vz. And they won't pay you as much. Is this good for customers? Nope. Does vz care? Nope.
Many of the people you reference seem to post the same crap on the Verizon message bd in yahoo finance, diehard a--holes. Have been trying to cheerlead the stock for many years. When the stock goes up they rah ,rah, when it goes down they crawl in a hole. Youngins that are happy to be able to buy one share of stock, and have a vision of becoming millionaires some day. Little do they know......
So you work in IT. Nice you will be out of a job soon. Plus you can not automate an outside tech. Have a good day you lazy hypocrite. Get back to work
I work in RCMAC/NTC and still find time to call you the greedy a--holes. The truth is that this job isn't very hard and many of us fron IT are working on ways to completely automate reject analysis.
