I don't know for sure when the 'all clear' message for everyone to go back to work is going to sound, but I'm hearing as soon as tomorrow and "practically 100%" by COB on Friday.

Each member on strike is losing between $7K and $10K per month plus personal health/life insurance & whatever OT was being worked. It takes years to recover from that. EWA people have been forced into jobs they never would have applied or are necessarily qualified for and are missing significant time with families. For some, the extra money is worth it. For other's it's not but doesn't matter...no choice. 50-60K people are miserable. This whole thing SUCKS and we are all just pawns in the big chess match. The average Joe does not understand why we don't settle this thing through mediation and come to some middle ground, reasonable solution. The pawns in the middle are the biggest losers in this whole mess...both sides.
Will be waiting to read the final contract, and when it is virtually no different than what's been on the table for days, I can't wait to see how the union leaders tout it as a huge win lol. If it doesn't have movement on every item, then all of you ignorant, lazy, uneducated, pathetic excuses for human flesh will have walked around in circles tooting your little horns for absolutely no gain. But, I'm sure when you pull the union leaders di(k out of your mouth, the first thing you will do is say thank you. My God, to think that you ignorant a--holes are allowed to breed is a crime against humanity.

And to those of you saying there were no formal bargaining meetings, you are correct. But just remember there are things going on outside of formal bargaining.

What a complete load of crap. The only breakthrough is the union caving in on demands. What will be funny is to watch the union screws "we won" when in reality they will have nothing to show for their lost wages. But then again, they aren't allowed to think on their own, so they will believe whatever their leaders tell them. But, when the union is comprised almost entirely of uneducated, illiterate scumbags, why would I expect anything different?

For whatever reason the company has created a workforce of hatred. Very sad to see a company who could be a good corporate american enjoy turning workers against each other instead of trying to bring them together.

I haven't even been able to golf once while I've been on strike. This weather is horrible. I need at least one day off with good weather. Ewa's you owe it to us.. give us one good weather day off.. I'm tired of hanging with the wife and kids. I need to hit the links. I've strike funded for ever.. I have groupons and coupons. I'm talking $150 courses that I can play for free.. Please just hang in there till it's nice.. I'll clean up your messes.. Heck I'll even do all the safety stuff.. Cause once we are back I know you guys won't give me a weekday off till January, and I don't Ski.
