"Sends jobs overseas? Yes. Anti-American? Hell no. It's your government and all their regulations that forces them to ship jobs overseas. Shareholder value is the number one interest of any corporation."

The truth is, they all want to shut the American economy down and turn us into a 3rd world country so no one can afford anything and we can all be dependent on the powers that be. They are using all of us as pawns, a means to an end. No one is safe if this crap continues, just living on borrowed time.

"Now you answer please Yes or no... There is NO company in US that doesn't ship American jobs overseas to increase their profitability and be competitive in this capital market."

Answer this one instead, when a corporations continue to outsource everything to other countries making workers in their home country compete with slave wages overseas, unless you are moving to India or the Phillipines, how do you personally benefit from such actions? How does globalism benefit anyone in America that isn't a part of the top 1%? I have the answer for you. It doesn't and you won't benefit, so why defend it unless you are a CEO or executive.

No. Verizon is just like any other American company that is doing the best to maximize profits and shareholder value.

You are being overly dramatic because Verizon is cutting costs in the business unit you work for. You are clearly too narcissistic to realize that everyone has things they don't like about their job and that every company is using automation and outsourcing to lower their costs. Every company is doing the same thing.

You and the other union members are arguing over first world issues. Even if the union gets nothing it's asking for, it's members still have higher paying jobs and better health benefits than any other company in the industry.

Verizon has offshored some things and has shut down facilities that have small numbers of employees. You overdramatically call this being "Anti-American", but the rest of the world calls it "doing business".

Anti-American...yeah sure. Like the union people who use intimidation to get what they want and then resort to bribery to get government to force the union onto people who want nothing to do with it in non right to work states. That's real American. Screw liberty and choice. You get union stuffed down your throat and if you resist you are deemed unworthy of respect. Can't get more unAmerican than that.

When a majority of their call center workforce is overseas with thr desire to outsource anything else they can, I would have to agree that Verizon is a very Anti American company.
