Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

VETS

The company hires many VETS as managers because they get a tax break.....Now these managers should be fully aware of the meaning of UNITY..its what you need in any battlefield.

UNITY is very important to survive and this is a battle foe survival in this economy...

I have already seen on this site that many of you have anger because these workers are fighting for things tou as wireless workers DO NOT HAVE....you call these Union workers as entitled people because they have something, every worker in this country wishes they had.

This is a fight for many, however if you cave in then this country is week and we the midle class will never win.....Please be strong, please fight, please win.....

I call BS on the OP. Verizon is VERY UNFRIENDLY to Veterans, more so since Ivan (a Veteran) retired.

Although the company hired many Vets to do the EWA training, there are almost NONE at Basking Ridge. Of those who were there, most were riffed.

So This Veteran Considered Verizon Anti Veteran.

cuj- are you serious?!?!? I could say it is easier to look and find another job then to strike.... It blows me away that you think someone should quit their job so you can get a better contract... SMH -

People who have gone to battle and understand what real fighting is aren't going to have too much respect for entitlement. That's probably why you don't see them jumping on the union bandwagon.

This is not a government draft. Anyone asked to EWA have a right to say NO!!!! This is just a job. It's easier to look and find another job then agree to EWA.
