For all of you on EWA, remember the extensive CBTs that Verizon gave you on working storm damage areas. Of course you recall the 2 most pertinent areas of training. First, the dangers that steel strand in the OSP presents in areas where trees are downed (the most common injuries being amputation and decapitation). Remember that you do not have to be within sight of the downed tree to be at risk.
And of course, the 2nd most common danger involves downed electrical plant -- but again, you have had that CBT and are on top of this.
