because we all would like you to back to work. We already have a homeless problem in the northeast. We dont need another 30 or 40 thousand people living under bridges and in discarded refrigerator boxes...

Lol yea.... If The Deliverance looking dudes with 2 teeth in each of there pie holes are the salvation of the company then Verizon is in a heap of trouble. These are the experienced f---ers they brought into Poughkeepsie to do pole work in LAgrange. Holy hell .... These are some pathetic workers. I was out scab chasing today and it really made me feel good about our people. The guys they had out in the field looked like they came from the backwaters somewhere and could barely put a coherent thought together. 6 of them stood around a cross box for hours with absolutely no clue what to do next and these weren't managers - they were hired scabs from Florida. These "Larry the Cable Guy" looking knuckleheads were all happy to be getting scab pay while getting 1/100th the work done that one of our guys would produce in a day. Any they say the union guys are lazy? If I had any doubts that the union will win this fight they were vanquished today.

OP, I think your opportunity to come back to work has passed based on the message I'm hearing -- seriously.
They are literally opening your job and the other 39,999 of them for new hires and are interviewing immediately. That's why you see a lot of EWA people who feel like they just ate a sh-- sandwich.
The union as a group of Verizon employees is gone. It got real today.
Because we, the ewa, are tired and grouchy and know that your leaders and our leaders are pissing all over each other while the union workers and the ewa get f---ed. We know they aren't bluffing about this last best offer and the only chance we all have is for you to sign it and end the madness.
