Verizon has only provisioned call forward set from the home home, which is out..LoL .. ridiculous. ... I requested them to escalate this to their head office.

me too. FIOS support sucks. 5 hours of push this, unplug that, blah, blah. I told them that the link light was out on the ONT. I told them that the problem was on their side somewhere. They said that they could only help me if I tried everything they said. Push the reset button (yay, start with a default router again). Disconnect the 6V battery from the ONT. Plug the ONT into a different wall. Okay, let me just rip the ONT off of the wall and move it 20 feet away. Impossible people.

Good news V-Teamers, we closed out 1,000,000 trouble tickets today! Bravo!

I fixed an f1 issue last feiday that had notes from 4 other technicians over a 5 week time period. We may not all be as good, but we are doing a damn good job. We are doing installs and future dated work everyday.

And in that note... sign and get back to work. I miss my cubicle :-)

Hey OP -- we get those exact same types of complaints even when you're working. Why do you think Verizon is so against paying you even more?

Verizon wireline always has horrible customer service when it comes to consumer phone and internet. The quotes you posted are no different than the ones from the last 365 days of the year.

Verizon service sucks when the union is working so of course it's going to suck even more when 10000 people are trying to replace 40000.

Part of the reason VZ wants out of the wireline business is because it's cost structure is too high because of the union. And to make it worse, the overpaid union people are lazy and do horrible work by never showing up on time, leaving work early even if they still have scheduled stops, and hanging up or transferring callers just to get rid of them instead of helping customers. In the nutshell, Verizon is paying way to much for a union workforce that does crappy work.

We see the same types of customer complaints as posted in the OP when the union is "working" normally. This is just more of the same, but at least Verizon has an excuse for lousy service when a strike is going on.

That's what happens when a group of entitled, spoiled employees walks off their jobs. There are days I'd like to walk off my job too, but I put on my big boy pants and go to work.

If I don't like my job I find a new one instead of refusing to do the job or doing a crappy job or calling in sick or sabatoging my employer.

If you think you're surprising anyone by posting customer complaints, you aren't. There are complaints like that when the union isn't on strike, so it's no shock that there are also complaints when the union strikes.

Grow up -- the whole reason there is a problem is that you entitled union jerks refuse to do the job you accepted at Verizon, so don't try and blame it on the people trying to temporarily do your job.

I used to feel some empathy for the union, but after seeing how you people act you all deserve to be fired. You are entitled, lazy, awful people.
