All I hear from the Basking Ridge trolls is crickets chirping.
It's basically saing that VZ is including executive pay as part of the larger "Corporate Operations" expenses line item to create a loss on the books. By hiding it here, 2 things are being pointed out...it means every customer is helping cover this line item when they pay their bill each month, and it makes VZ operating units like wireline appear to be less profitable. In short, you can make numbers say what you want, and Shamo is cooking the books, while not illegal, to dump exec pay line items on customers and wireline.

You don't need to sell Lowell's greed to mgmt. He has a greedy contract. The issue we have is that you call him out his greed while on the other hand your leadership is making unrealistic and, surprise, GREEDY demands for health care and tuition assistance. The health coverage available in the contract you denied is better than 95% of the middle class.

Great Article. It's amazing how the company just keeps increasing the medical cost for it's employees but thinks it's ok to give someone who makes 18+million per year full coverage. Oh....that's right he negotiated that as part of his "contract".
