If management actually went out on strike with you. Once the strike is over and you come back but not the EWA person would you stay out for him? Now you know why we work. Call me what you want.

OP you should mention your thesis to some striking workers. Especially if you are "a person of no color" I am sure that would make you very popular with the "of color" strikers.

Control of word definitions has always been in the mind control playbook. Scab historically means, and the primary definition is, anyone who crosses picket line to do the work of union workers who are on strike. Some would take it further to state anyone who crosses picket line for any reason directly or indirectly supporting a company with workers on strike is a scab, that would include catering companies, and the mailman. This is why UPS workers don't cross the picket line of Verizon strikers.

Scab doesn't mean anything to me. Rather be an employed scab who takes care of my family than an unemployed follower who uses the strike as an excuse to not do his duty. You know, you make a statement but after a while a responsible man will realize where his loyalty lies. And if your loyalty is before company or union before your family, I pity your family. They deserve better than you.
