nyu, get another job, you have the strike fund, unemployment, maybe saved a few bucks you will get help with medical, Your call.
And the union has such a reputation of being lazy and entitled that no one else will hire us. We are at the mercy of the Bozos who are running the union (and who are happily getting a paycheck and benefits while we starve).

Scab, no scab. Does it matter? If my kids are hungry, my career screwed, it really doesn't matter what the union thinks. Those people aren't responsible for my family. I am. I am! And as a responsible adult, I do what is best for them, not the union.

The scabs don't realize they are being used as pawns In a game to destroy the middle class in this country by corporations such as this one. As soon as your usefulness runs out to this company, they flush you and move to the next group of pawns, wash, rince, repeat. So congratulations on furthering the company's agenda to destroy the middle class and supporting outsourcing of middle class jobs. Remember, we either hang together or we hang separate. Suppoting this race to the bottom garbage these corporations are engaing in with wages, benefits and retirement helps no one but the fat cats at the top who get all that and more at your expense. The term scab won't be around much longer. Nobody uses it except the union, and that's about to disappear.
Any employee who harrasses another is also subject to discipline up to termination, so if the OP has any issues with it I'd encourage him to report it. Clearly wxa is a narcissist and has no respect for people who put their family above the silly union.
