Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Benefits are gone in 90 minutes.

Benefits are gone in 90 minutes. Verizon wants to get rid of wireline, so they're not budging an inch. I truly am sorry you answer to a union that you pay, rather than a company that pays you. That's assbackwards.

I sincerely hope that no union wives or kids get sick.

Actually you have 60 days to decide Cobra and it is retroactive to 5-1-16.

So you can hold off.

I don't know if a pregnancy would be covered so hold off knocking up scabs wife/girlfriend. While the cats away the mouse will play.

STAY THIRSTY YOU SCABS.

-Sri no... Not a union job.

-wgk actually your wrong. The union has made major concessions on health benefits in the prior contract and apparently agreed to more in this latest one.

Good. As long as the wives and kids are ok and covered, the strike can last years. Ironic how the strike can go on and on, and union can afford benefits during the strike, yet that's one of the main things their holding out for.

Serious question, and not intending to be rude. Does your wife also belong to a Union?

No worries... Jumping into my wife's plan when needed. It's called a life event people. No need for Cobra or Obama care. OP don't worry about our wives and kids...we will manage.

Thanks OP. And I sincerely hope you don't get hit by a bus tomorrow morning and flattened into a pancake that has to be scraped off the road.

Also, I sincerely hope you are not mauled to death by 3 pit bulls.
