I'm all for letting some other company have the union millstone around their neck
Please sell us to Frontier, they know how to run a telecom business.
Frontier also negotiated a contract after a sale.
Not before they use you build out 5G and maybe some FIOS... Wishful thinking.

And no, that's not the way it works.
The buyer gets everything, including the union contract that they must obey.
Once that expires, they're free to re-negotiate with the workers.
FWIW, Frontier has been great in all parts that were a part of VZ's footprint as far as their relationship with the unions. And, they don't outsource call centers.
Sounds like a win-win to me. Where do I sign up for my Frontier shirt?
I think that is their end game. They already did it in Florida, Texas, and California.
They want to be a wireless and Internet company only
