Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

A lullaby

On a rainy night

On the cusp of May

Little scabby's tucked in

They dred the next day

The union will strike

Hold the line they will shout

The union is pitching

Verizon struck out!

Good Night Scabs

Put that song on your resume. Im sure somebody will hire a lazy assunion worker. Make sure you tell them what you want pay wise and benefit wise. When they laugh at you and walk away maybe than it will all sink in. Goodbye CWA UNION.

Blue can of steel

what promise do you hold?

salt flesh so ripe

Can of metal, slick

soft center, so cool, moistening

I yearn for your salt

Twist, pull the sharp lid

Jerks and cuts me deeply but

Spam, aaah, my poultice.

silent, former pig

one communal awareness

myriad pink bricks

you wait to feed me

stoic vigil on the shelf

ah my vibrant pink

jelly for mortar

seven hundred tins and more

i build a Spam house

my friend pork shoulder

I return to you. this time

i've brought mayonnaise

You suck at life and especially writing a nursery rhyme. What's the average education for a union member? Eight grade and that's being generous.

Oh stop it already, the public is clamoring for Fios and you know that. It is a superior product and they know that too. There is no competition to cable an no, satellite is not competition. Everyone wants Fios in areas where it is not available.

Fios=wireline

Fiber optic=backbone of VZW network

^^^VZW Kool-Aid drinkers hate this^^^

The union people trying to feel important don't seem to realize that Verizon doesn't care about wireline because it contributes less than 6% of the company's income. If wireline failed tomorrow it wouldn't even dent Verizon's bottom line.

Verizon has all the leverage and is winning this strike because they don't care whether you come to work or not. It isn't going to make or break them if you never come back to work again. So what if the customers get some bad service while the new, cheap labor is getting hired and settled in.

Verizon doesn't care and the union people have no jobs or health coverage without Verizon. Advantage Verizon.
