Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Looks like McDumbass, Shamwow, Greed & Smudge are getting nervous. They have one of their $8.00/hr H1-B'ers making dozens of toad posts.

Stay strong, they are backed into the corner. We will not let them out!

Sorry Mike, you don't deserve that. I'm going to keep calling you the wrong name until he does the right thing for the locals and accepts mediation.

What makes you think Mike Shelton wouldn't be pro H1B if it meant he could unionize all that accept that visa?

Mike Shelton is no better of a leader than McAdam and you know it. If the CWA could go into India and the Philippines and organize, they would without a second thought.

What corner is that? The one where they don't want to be in the business you used to be employed in? Or is it the corner where profits from wireline can't compare to wireless?

The company is ruthless, it doesn't care about you and wants to move away from the business you support. Any extended outages or problems with service as a result of the strike would be looked at by the company as a worthy business trade off if they can get rid of you or greatly reduce your costs. They are playing the long game, the money they could save on your salaries, benefits, and pensions would be huge. They don't want to grow in wireline and they have all the leverage. This isn't 20 years ago.
