We are doing just fine doing the lazy assunion peoples work. Overtine,great food. The only problem I have is trying to sleep in my truck like a true union scumbag. Maybe you can show me that after you eat your hot dogs on the line and complain how bad the company treats you. Whats for dinner?

Doesn't the Union get 6 weeks of training and ride with another tech for a month or 2?
We had 1 week... A year ago for most of us. And got sent on our own after 7 days. And most are doing a great job. There are definitely some tools out there, but you have that in the Union too.

Lol. Your response is pure uninformed bullshit. I know people who meet their number, have zero repeater rates and work hard everyday! They get in trouble for stopping for a cup of coffee or to use the bathroom. Verizon has taken it upon itself to harass and use gps to intimidate their workers. Are there f--- ups who get caught? Of course they are and they get what they deserve but to harass EVERY worker, EVERY day is just abuse! And if you think they won't do it to you because "you are doing your best" then I have a bridge to sell you. Please talk to some of the men and women who deal with this on a daily basis and actually listen to their grievances instead of assuming you know what is going on. And if you are management then you know that you are just spewing nonsense with your enlightened comments. Not ALL union members are lazy, uneducated slobs. The majority are familiar men and women who take pride in their job and enjoy doing it. Again please get educated

I am one of those EWAs that can do the field tech work just as well as anyone else. Every new ticket is a challenge, but I figure out how to get it done. The main difference is that I don't need to worry about being disciplined because I get the job done and am not involved in the nonsense. I don't hide out near hubs, take chaise lounges with me, call other slugs to pick me up while I abandon the van, close out tickets prematurely, don't look at porn, etc. There is a reason why you folks are having a hard time getting past this contract, you have a inflated view of your skills and no one thinks you are worth it. To top it off, there are a sizeable number of 'brothers' that are sick thugs and would probably be in and out of prison, if it were not for Verizon keeping this people off the streets. Finally, the teams picketing at Verizon Wireless stores look they are homeless. I watched customers walk by them yesterday - they looked afraid to go near them. If the CWA thinks that is a winning strategy, they are incorrect in my opinion.
