foreign country. I have already seen the trend where full time employees are hired just for few months and dumped like contractors by major companies. Life, liberty, future financial security is more important than anything else. I am a management employee and fully support the unions. There is nothing wrong for 40000 people to show their concern while 10 people sitting a boardroom are deciding fate of 200000 people and devising the chains of modern form of slavery- If you don't listen to me, I will keep you hungry.

We were born into a system that wasn't of our choosing that dictates in order to survive and live a normal life you must have a job and be a contributing member of society, without that job you will be destitute and homeless, but yet having a job is a priveledge, not a right? You people are whacked out and no wonder the system sucks, you people cant tell whether you are coming or going! In my opinion a job is a right of we are forced to live in this manipulative economic system.
If being employed is not a right for the employee, why is taxation of that employees income a right by the government? Something sounds out of whack here.
bottom line
The average compensation of over 100K is not slavery.
Overall, this looks like a good offer.
Times have changed, the union has not.
I do not think VZ will move on the offer.

OP this a very thought out post and the first responder must live in a bubble. The evidence to what you say can be found in the multitude of these interlocking cross directorships with board of directors of all of these multinational corporations. Nice cozy relationships as they collect a check for sitting in a room a few times a year with their fingers up their asses lacking accountability because the controlling shares will ensure these puppets keep their seats at the table.
These CEO's and their merry band of henchman do not have a country and it's why you see the crumbling of western borders. The recent push back in Europe against the New World Order will not be stood for and if a false flag is needed, one will be found. The power elite WILL have their will be done because they can. The control the might.
When you have these two unions endorse the puppet of the NWO for 2 terms of ineptitude (as evidence for doing jack sh-- for minorities other than grow the welfare doles and jack sh-- for labor), then there really isn't much hope of righting this ship and in in about 75-100 years, it will be man the rails here as well. So there is plenty of blame to go around as the general masses buy into what the talking heads tell them.
The first reponder seems to be ignorant of a waning nation that when it was intact and devoid of rampant corruption, served a purpose on the world stage. If we do not get back to where we were to some degree, then so goes the world.

if this post and the last response are a true sampling of how the Union thinks, I now know that when I get back to work (not before, I will see the strike through) I need to resign from the Union. I cannot be associated with such entitlement.
