iev: you are exactly right. the people who created unions way back when the were necessary are turning over in their graves at the crap unions today ask for. That was not the intent of unions when they were created. They've run amok.

Verizon customers were furious before the strike started.

People know the union is fighting for as much as possible, not necessarily what is fair or reasonable. Pension AND 401k match? Call centers with less than 6 people must be kept open? Close to zero contributions to healthcare? Job protections even if there's no need for the job?

Yeah, that's unions for you.

Narcissists make long, 3 paragraph, wordy, self-important posts and evoke Archie Bunker, something millennials have no clue who/what he is, which is a microcosm of how out of touch VZ is, especially since they want to market to millennials in the first place.

You sure are a company man and are the poster boy for why people can't stand VZ, aside from their exorbitantly high wireless fees/pricing

No wonder why Legere called VZ as being part of "Dumb & Dumber"

Union people are narcissists, and by nature narcissists are always thinking about themselves believing that every situation revolves around them and that the whole world is thinking about them. That's why they don't understand that as far as the strike is concerned most people either a) don't really care or even know it's going on, or b) think it's just another union causing issues trying to take down another company (like the airline unions have been so successful doing).

Like it or not, people really are not passionate about your problems Mr. Unemployed Union Guy. They don't care about your problems nor are they upset that Verizon won't give you all the pension benefits you want in addition to the other laundry list of things you want.

You all seem to think the whole world is constantly thinking about you and running to get in line behind you when in reality they don't care and the ones that do don't like your sense of entitlement. Archie Bunker is the poster child for what people think a union person is, and the idea of 40,000 Archie Bunkers running around is not something people want to align with. I know this is hard for a narcissist to digest, but it's the truth.

All the customers I've seen have been remarkably happy with the service they've gotten. They've thanked me and praised the job we did, especially with the strike going on.

And I'll tell you this -- virtually every customer I've seen has NOT been on the union's side.

But they know that the comany who they are paying is not delivering the service that was promised for that money. Enter government regulators? Whos's fault is that?

Most of them don't even know Verizon union is on strike. So disappointed.
