Not a rumor. We were told it looks like wire line and U-Verse will move to another company.
Wonder if it will be like Verizon sale and the Connecticut sale to Frontier.

Last quarter will be the last for the DSL and possibly some wireline groups. We were told to prepare for the closings and look around, The same for friends in Chicago. Also the 911 group may close in Connecticut and Chicago and move to Texas until other changes can be made for the support.
From what I've heard (unconfirmed) the DSL group in Detroit may be shuttered as early as the end of this year.
