There is no union. They rat each other out. They screw each other over overtime. They screwed the retirees. They screwed the new hires. Its everyone for themselves. When they retire they will realize they screwed themselves.

How can you praise and admire a company that hates it's employees. It's truly a low self esteem individual that believes and follows this companies credo. All union haters can continue bashing, with zero results. Unlike most of the sheep, the union workforce has thick skin. Nothing posted or said by management has any effect on anything.
Without wireline, wireless wouldn't exist. This company is making $18B a year because of those 40,000 deadbeats.
@jnb You obviously don't know why people strike, how to negotiate through a strike, and how to reconcile. So dumb. Just shut up and follow the people who know what they're doing.

mas: your are absolutely on point. They switch to competitors during the strike, trash customers at our VZW stores, whine to local politicians. Then, all of a sudden, these useless loads come back to collect a paycheck. What a bunch of low class slobs that would do anything to stick it to their 'Brothers & Sisters' - this is the most self serving selfish bunch of losers.
This lazy assunion showed their real colors during the strike. They hate the company so much yet fight like hell to get back because they know nothing else.
Verizon's union work force is the most embarrassing part of the company. It's hard to explain why the company employs the bottom of the barrel, yet strives to be a world class organization. You can not have a first rate team when you have 40,000 deadbeats on the payroll - not a formula for innovation or growth.
