Dtv staff jumping ship with hefty packages. Morale extremely low in both companies. Integration failing. Everyone on both sides looking for work. Productivity declining. People tired of drinking the Kool aid.from leadership. Social contract broken. Maximize shareholder value is all that matters. Get out now if you can. Otherwise hold on for a continuous bumpy road..

I had posted this in another thread and wanted to bring out that it seem that the southeast is being gutted. I wonder if they are being prepped to be sold off.

The supplies attendant I refered to mentioned a legal/contractual issue regarding legacy DTV installation contractors.

I've heard u-verse techs doing DTV installs and the 1 truck roll plan has been pushed back to 2017. No indication of why.

Here in N.E. Texas I spoke with a supplies attendant and he said he was returning most of the DTV gear. He made it sound like the prem techs won't being doing DTV installs anytime soon or if at all. Not sure if this is relevant.

As with others areas of the company, most believe it will be the other guy and never them. ATT is currently hiring off site contractors to do the work for remote support. The local DTV installation will be all contractor very soon. Sadly the ATT tech's who work in the field thought they would be picking up the work but it will ever happen. The other wireline groups will be gone very soon unless the state is moved to another company like Frontier.

Work is being mover to support centers overseas. Any work that can go to a contractor is going. No 401k no medical no vacations, they save a lot ...all greed

I had to complete a document today that only went through July. I'm wondering if this is an indication that I'm done. And to echo the sentiments above, DTV was an amazing place to work with a company culture that valued employees. Since the T acquisition, I haven't seen anything but our industry leading NPS and Customer Satisfaction scores plummet, our workforce morale become nonexistent, and management becoming hostile and silent. Night and day. Sorry, AT&T, you're on your way to ruining an amazing company with employees who put customers first, which enabled the bottom line.

When AT&T bought DTV many of the employees hoped for the best. AT&T after all is one of the largest and most profitable companies in the world. Instead they have sorely disappointed.

One of AT&T's first actions was to drastically reduce their pay. What a way to impress. There is a wise saying that if you take care of your employees you don't have to worry about your customers. What happens to customer service when you treat us like indentured servants?

We have met these folks and they are good, honest, hard working people. They are our friends, neighbors, and families. AT&T should be ashamed. But as we know, Randle Stephenson has no shame.
