I was laid off from HPE last year. I am still looking for a job now.
As an American, I am so sad that I am not any better than H1B workers. : (((((

At HPE, it's not only H1Bs replacing us... our jobs are being directly outsourced to Bangalore and eastern Europe without any shame in the name of "global competitiveness".
It's not just HPE... it's the entire tech industry that is going the way of the automotive industry in the 70s. The entire silicon valley will turn into a giant Detroit, eventually. We saw what happened to Detroit. The silicon valley is headed a similar route sending jobs abroad.
