Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Think about this, Shelton disregarded all other union presidents, locals, makes a deal without them? Sooooo...

What was the point of all these union bargaining committees for the past year? If he can make a closed door deal with VZ, without any other input, doesnt make them pretty much toy soldiers?..lol...Of course it does! I would be embarrassed to be a union official after what just took place! imo

the union isn't valuable or necessary to the business. he prolonged the inevitable. use the extra time wisely and start planning your next move. there aren't anymore cards to play. the shows over.

@v1b- you did not win.. You win short term gains... But call center employees will lose job security in 2017 and employees hired after 2003 no job security. They are slowly chipping away at the union you will have about 20,000 union employees in about 4 years so no you did not win

So a petty little troll, maybe a wireless store clerk, maybe a cubicle mushroom somewhere, maybe an unloved and insecure landline manager somewhere, has his asschapped by the fact that the union beat VZ management like a rented mule on this last contract dispute. What does this troll do to feel marginally better?

He posts some malarkey about how bad mean ole union leaders are, yadda yadda yadda....
