Im sure all of us who were on strike had nicknames for the scabs pulling out in OUR trucks... besides Hicksville did anyone else notice a plethora of kumar and kumars riding together???

One buck toothed fat scab from GA was hilarious, ate in the truck for 4 hours, then at lunch. Sat in the truck for another hour then wen to the local food mart and bought 2 bags of food. In 8 hours all he did was idle a truck and eat We named him Cartman.
I couldn't believe ow scruffy, fat, and nasty most of the union guys are. Like they have absolutely no pride in the, selves. And the union heifers were even worse!
As a EWA worker ,I went in to many Fi0S hubs to check my jumpers and saw alot of HOH MUST GO. writhen on the doors . I just can't understand why techs would want such a nice guy to go . He was the only one that let us all pull in with no delay. F--- you,HOH MUST STAY !!
I was ewa in nassau. I do not understand why i was ridiculed for cleaning coax. The verizon worker who guided me was very helpful. I was on job for 4 hours and still had a fuzzy picture. After i cleaned coax, everything worked fine.
So what was so funny? I cleaned coax very thoroughly and the picture cleared up.
Thank you helpful verizon worker. Many ewas used this helpful hint during the strike. I can now confidently say that nassau has cleanest coax in all of verizon footprint.
I am very proud
The garage location of my EWA had a chubby guy sitting across the street with a HUGE zoom lens on his camera. We nicknamed him Phat Photographer.
I am the local EWA that had the pleasure of being called squirrelhead. I just want to say most of the 1104 Union who did mobile picketing did a great job . On the most part you guys were respectful and i understand it was your jobs you were fighting for .While the rest sat in beach chairs sleeping or holding the walls up. I do live local and slept in my own bed every night and had a fresh home cooked meal .Some nights I even got laid, other nights I just beat off to the hot EWA that was also pulling out of Duffy 😆. Bottom line is I couldn't care less about those "Out of state job stealers" I am so glad you guys stood up for what you wanted and didn't give in . That was done ALL DAY EVERY DAY. Good luck with the new contract. See ya
Sincerely,
Squirrelhead
the fat Indian man followed us in a black truck and made fun of us and hurt our feelings
I think the EWAs in Nassau have a difficult task. They never told me this when I was granted my H-1B visa. I would have stayed home learning my craft. Now, my family is shame of videos on youtube. The 2 hours of prep and training spent every morning at Dunkin Donuts with Kumar after dispatch was of no use. Never take advice from desperate out of work new yorker. They call me filthy job stealer
I was grateful I didn't have to work with that guy they squirrelhead. He was a local EWA, a real go getter. He arrived at work with a knapsack full of food and those that had the pleasure of his company were shuffled around from job to job, hungry and relieving themselves in the back of the van. The poor IT gal that rode with him the first two weeks almost had a nervous breakdown. Thank god the strikers comforted her. She tode with me sso.e days. We were happy just knocking on doors and telling people their service will be restored when the strike ends. Squirrelhead in the meantime, would go home to a hot meal at the end of the day. The rest of us resolved to eating the company provided Dum Dum lollipops left in the dispatch breakroom. Smores flovered Dum Dums were my favorite, everyone knew it and they saved those for me. Good thing the lollipops were provided cause the picketers would follow us into delis and fast food joints to threaten the owners and boycott the establishments. Just glad its over. Signed, Lurch from IT
Did anyone here about SHOA?? They are like outlaw strikers. I was an ewa in nassau and was told if they were following me go to the nearest police station... I heard they did their part running the non vz scabs out of town...
Our garage had about 75 Danny DeVitos picketing outside. And their wives probably all looked like Rhea Perlman.
I remember them calling my co-EWA'we "Angry Midget Scab" he seemed to like being called that. Ironically, the shortest guy in their group was yelling it the most. Lol
Who was the big fat guy everyone was calling Fred Flintstone. He really ran around town like he was hot sh--.
How bout that lazy eyed female football player, did anyone have a special name for her ?
And I'm sure they noticed all the Danny Devito's.
